“Mom, can I have a ‘Hello Kitty’ debit card?”
I’ve written quite a lot about teaching kids the skills they need to handle money. Granted, my boy isn’t even a year old yet, but now that I’m a dad, this subject is of keen interest to me.
I think it’s absolutely crucial to teach kids – even really young kids – not only the value of a dollar, but also the value of respecting, managing and investing your hard-earned money.
